Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays! My husband Jackson and I got married a little over a year ago (11.11.17). So our families now spend Thanksgiving together in Chattanooga. His family has a big barn on their property and everyone brings their favorite dishes and it’s a big ole pot luck with family and friends! My favorite dish I make is homemade squash casserole and it’s SUPER EASY!!!!
1 lb squash (steamed)
1 tbs sugar (I swear it’s the secret)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 egg
1-2 cups cheese (depending how cheesyyy you like it)
1/4 cup onions if you like!
a roll of crackers
mix it all together… bake 350 for total 25 min. About half way take it out, crumble crackers on top, and then stick it back in.
