Film: Dierks Bentley: Riser (2014)

Riser follows singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley as he begins work on his seventh studio album. Bentley reflects on how the loss of his father and the birth of his first son affected his songwriting and the mood of Riser. The documentary features interviews with tour-mate Miranda Lambert and producer Ross Copperman, as well as performances from the album including the title track, “I Hold On,” “Here on Earth,” and “Back Porch.”

The film, with a running time of 45 minutes, is offered in support of  Dierks Bentley: Every Mile a Memory presented by Citi and screened in the Museum’s Ford Theater.
