Keep an eye to the sky this summer, something BIG will be flying over Nashville! MTSU is calling it the “Great Tennessee Eclipse!” It will be a full eclipse that will pass over Nashville on August 21st, 2017. The shadow will only be about 75 miles wide so you will need to keep an eye on the eclipse time table to be outside for the best view! Sure, you could wait until next time but unless you plan to be cryogenically frozen, I doubt you will be able to see it in 2566! The last one tpassed over Murfreesboro was in 1478.
